The Future of Functional Power Starts Here We are beyond excited to officially announce a planned breeding between two formidable Boerboels in the breed— BBS Fiona and Middelpos Java, better known to many as Middelpos One. This pairing is not just a union of two exceptional dogs— it is the strategic fusion of world-class structure, elite genetics, and temperament true to the Boerboel’s origin and purpose. At the core of this pairing lies a deeply rooted and carefully preserved Delatro bloodline—a name that commands respect in the Boerboel world.
I hope with the new male we bring to Spain who also carries Delatro blood that this breeding will be one for the future as well. The Delatro line is renowned for producing dogs with bone, balanced movement, exceptional head type, and an unwavering guarding instinct balanced by a stable and trainable temperament. Delatro dogs are known for their predictability in producing powerfully built, mentally stable working Boerboels, like Delatro Kardo—and we see these traits richly represented in One. BBS Fiona brings strength in both pedigree and performance. From her maternal and paternal sides, she carries old-school Cabaret influence—a line characterized by its thick bone, excellent toplines, and broad, expressive heads.
Fiona is a female who commands attention, not just with her presence but also with her movement—fluid, purposeful, and confident. Middelpos Java (“One”), meanwhile, is a walking tribute to classic type. A direct descendent of the Middelpos and Delatro dynasties, One offers tremendous balance between masculinity and refinement. With a deep, broad chest plate, wide muzzle, and textbook angulation, he exudes strength without sacrificing agility. He is what we refer to as “functional”—not just big, but built for endurance and action. Java’s Delatro lineage comes through strong in his working ability and instinctive territorial awareness, paired with an exceptionally stable and discerning nature.

Our focus is on dogs with the correct proportions, powerful musculoskeletal structure, confident top lines, strong rear drives, and heads that reflect the Boerboel standard: broad, expressive, and unmistakably powerful. For me, this isn’t about breeding just another litter. It’s about preserving and elevating the breed through intentional, disciplined choices grounded in decades of knowledge and passion by breeders before me.
